FHCS is a subsidiary of the Freudenberg Group, a globally operating family-owned company established in 1849 in Germany by Carl Johann Freudenberg. The Freudenberg Group has diversified over the years into various industries, including housewares and cleaning products. FHCS itself was founded in 1991 as Freudenberg Haushaltsprodukte KG, renamed to Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions in 2013 and has since then broadened its portfolio of brands, which today includes Vileda®, O-Cedar®, Gimi®, Wettex®, Marigold® and others.

FHCS maintains a strong international presence with a distribution network in more than 35 countries. The company operates subsidiaries in numerous countries worldwide and has an extensive network of sales representatives globally. Its headquarters is located in Weinheim, Germany.

Freudenberg Home & Cleaning Solutions (FHCS) sought a transport management system (TMS) to optimise efficiency across all logistics operations globally, keen to embrace strategic opportunities and upgrade their customers’ experience.

FHSC selected Transporeon Transport Operations, Time Slot Management and Freight Audit to support the global FHCS Supply ChainTransformation journey, and achieve the following:

Taking better and faster decisions in strategic Network Design and E2E Supply Chain Management.
Getting improved visibility on the last mile to improve customer service and centricity.

Strengthening logistics processes and driving digitalisation. The initiative aimed to enhance visibility, control, and efficiency across all aspects of transport management.
