TRANSPOREON INTEGRATED APP PROGRAM (TIAP)

Jacobs Transport and Tyldesley Distribution Services (TDS) Transport shift focus to exceptional customer service

The challenge

At Jacobs Transport, mounting inefficiencies, rising costs for essential upgrades and a lack of seamless integration with key platforms clarified the need for a more robust integration. Meanwhile, TDS was ready for an alternative to high-risk manual imports, unreliable communications and to meet increased customer demand for integration with the Transporeon platform.

Common challenges include:

Clunky integration with existing TMS doesn’t eliminate the need for time-consuming manual uploads.

Relying on more than one TMS leaves companies exposed to poor communication and risk of errors.

Access to new features including AI-powered solutions is often limited, or only available at extra cost.

Low quality and poor usability are commonly encountered with key platform integrations.

The more widespread the adoption of Transporeon, the more challenging it is to succeed without it.

The solution

Qargo demonstrated that with the right solution and data – such as accurate driver and order-related information – they could easily access all relevant information, all within a single view, saving considerable time and money.

Qargo’s onboarding experts spend time on site with the team to ensure the transition process is as seamless as possible. At Jacobs Transports, onboarding was completed within one week, with no orders lost. For TDS, onboarding proved to be a collaborative, commendable experience.

TDS and Jacobs were the first carriers/Qargo customers to go live with the Transporeon Integrated App Programme, in October 2024.

“Transporeon’s integration framework, TIAP, empowers us to stay agile and responsive to evolving supply chain demands while maintaining our commitment to quality and reliability.”

Bart Tilmans, CEO, Jacobs Transport

“Due to Qargo’s integration with Transporeon, we were able to elevate our supply chain operations to the next level. By significantly reducing manual work and optimizing our resources, we can now deliver exceptional service to our customers while enhancing transparency across their supply chain. We’re excited to continue working towards a more efficient and connected logistics ecosystem.”

Luke Evans, Birmingham Manager, TDS
